MISSION FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ( MCODE - UGANDA ) - Empowering Communities, Improving Lives

 

 

Mission for Community Development (MCODE) is a non-profit making, non partisan, non-governmental organisation based in Uganda and was registered with the Non-Governmental Organizations Board of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in 2009 [registration number S5914/7928].

 

MCODE is also registered with the Buikwe District Local Government [registration number BDC/CBO/767/2012].

MCODE collaborates with diverse partners on the design of sustainable rural health and development solutions through empowering, networking, advocacy, education support, provision of information and raising awareness among families.

MCODE supports and initiates innovative projects with a mission to save and improve lives of those in need with a priority on children and women.

 

MCODE was founded to help provide formal education, health promotion, clean drinking water, HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support, poverty alleviation, hygiene & sanitation and vocational skills training.
